SPCO Technologies Inc., a small-cap technology company that makes a range of consumer and enterprise networking products, announced today that it will open up a new global manufacturing facility in San Diego, California.
The new facility will provide a more efficient manufacturing process, the company said in a press release.
The announcement comes on the heels of Spco’s announcement earlier this month that it was acquiring an undisclosed number of semiconductor manufacturing assets from Toshiba Corp. of Japan for $4.5 billion in cash.
Spco Technologies said in the press release that it plans to continue operating in the U.S. and in Asia.
The company said that the new facility would be based in San Clemente, California, and would employ approximately 100 people.
